What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) is a gentle but powerful system of
energy healing. Your whole body is treated rather than specific
symptoms. I am a Reiki Master and I practise a form of Reiki called Usui Reiki which was developed in Japan in the early 20th century. I use a sequence
of hand positions resting lightly on or slightly above your
body to channel energy into your body. Reiki
can be used safely regardless of your state of health. It
may be used in conjunction with conventional medicine or natural
remedies.

HOW DOES REIKI WORK?
Reiki works by channelling energy which is transmitted through
the therapist’s hands into the person receiving the
healing. Your body automatically draws in only as much Reiki
as is needed using it in whatever way is most appropriate
at the time. In this way, energy can again flow through your
body in a healthy and natural way and balance is gradually
restored to you on all levels - physical, mental, emotional
and spiritual.

- It is deeply relaxing and eases stress.
- It helps to detoxify your body.
- It can help to stimulate natural healing
and aid recovery of acute and chronic ailments.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A REIKI TREATMENT?
- After an initial consultation, you simply
lie fully clothed (apart from shoes) on a treatment bed
and relax while receiving the treatment. If you are unable
to lie down, then you can be seated for the treatment.
- I will gently rest my hands either on or
just above your body in a sequence of positions covering
your whole body including your head, neck, chest, abdomen,
knees and feet. These are the standard positions for Reiki
but I also treat other areas where I feel energy is needed.
- You may experience mild tingling, warmth,
coolness, other sensations, or nothing at all.
- If you unable to come to me for a treatment,
then Distance Healing is another way to receive the benefits
of Reiki.

£35 for a one hour treatment and £45 for a 1.5 hour treatment. Both include an initial consultation.

Having Reiki with Jackie
